It was a night of glamour.
Almost everybody was in their best behavior and appearance.
The lights were set upon 12 lovely ladies who all had one thing in mind, winning the title of Miss Cebu and donning the crown of victory.
They were pretty maids all in a row.
First they were 12 then reduced to 5 and out of the 5, came the victor.
The glory of the night all rested on Miss Cheriemel Dianne A. Muego as she was hailed as Miss Cebu 2014.
Well, that’s just a bit of how I remembered last year’s coronation night.
In a few months, a new queen shall be hailed.

You might be curious as to who are the 12 lucky ladies given the chance to vie for the crown.

The Miss Cebu 2015 Press Conference and Presentation
Last October 23, 2014, the 12 candidates were first presented to the media.
The presentation was graced by Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama.
He gave his opening remarks and took the opportunity to have his photograph taken with the candidates.
Much to my delight, there was a session for question and answer.
Some of the questions given were quite difficult but they supplied the best answer that they could, even though nervousness had obviously crept into their voices.
I think they have handled the media presentation well enough, but they still have a big room for improvement.
I have no doubts that they will shine brighter than they do now.
They’re in good hands with the Miss Cebu Committee.
The Miss Cebu Committee has done it again! They have chosen the best ladies for the competition.
The ladies gave themselves a warm hug. After all, they managed to handle the media presentation well.
I think we need to take a second look at the ladies.
